Dr. Jordan's clinical approach is rooted in psychological science. He has authored over 40 publications, including the book Overcoming Test Anxiety. His research has been funded by the National Science Foundation, cited over 7,000 times, and featured in media outlets such as the New York Times and Good Morning America. Dr. Jordan is on the staff of McLean Hospital and teaches at Harvard Medical School. He also taught for over a decade at the Tuck School of Business and in the Master of Health Care Delivery Science program at Dartmouth College. Previously he served as the PTSD Expert Evaluator for the $45 million VA-DoD Consortium to Alleviate PTSD. He has supervised and taught trainees at all levels, from undergraduate to postdoctoral. He has coached C-level executives at Fortune 100 companies and served as an expert consultant in major civil litigation.
Dr. Jordan received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Stanford University and his B.A. from Harvard University, Phi Beta Kappa and with highest honors. His internship was in the National Center for PTSD at VA Boston. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at VA Boston and Dartmouth College.

Psychotherapy usually occurs weekly in 45-minute sessions. Extended and more frequent sessions are available.
The fee for each standard-length session is $425. Dr. Jordan is an out-of-network clinician. He provides receipts for patients who wish to file for out-of-network reimbursement through their insurance plans.
